My 2024 10K
My recorded finish time was 1 hour 13 minutes, although my fitness app showed 1 hour 3 minutes. I never fully resolved that difference, so I am leaving both readings here as part of my 2024 race record rather than trying to turn either one into a definitive result.
At the time, I was also excited about the progress of TerraMatris and wrote that it had grown 44 times since its inception. That belongs to this 2024 snapshot. On race morning, the more immediate point was simply fitting a 10K into a busy life of work, family and training.
Running with family and colleagues
It was a special day for our family too: our little one took part in the kids' run. That made the morning feel less like a race result and more like a shared Tbilisi event. Running with friends, colleagues and family was the part that stayed with me most.
The Tbilisi Marathon changes from year to year, but the basic appeal was already clear in 2024: an early run through the city, familiar faces at the start, and a good reason to spend the morning outside together.
